Dreaming of Pumpkin Lattes, Cozy Sweaters and Cooler Temperatures

I don’t know about you but after this week I’m ready for all things FALL! The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is in full effect with some adorable sweaters, booties and blazers marked down to a great deal. In the past I usually shopped the sale for shoes. Shoes and foot comfort are important to me so if I’m going to spend my money, that’s where it goes first. The second thing I look for is work tops. Think sweaters, cardigans and blazers. I don’t always find what I’m looking for but this year I had success with all of the above. Sizes and colors can be limited so if you’re eyeing something up, be sure to just make the purchase and you can always return later.

I’d love to hear what your favorite item is from the Nordstrom sale. What are you hoping comes back in stock? I’ll tell you the item I’m patiently waiting to come back in stock is this ultra cozy Madewell Ryder Striped Sweater. Fingers crossed!

X,

Kim

This blazer is a popular item over at the Nordstrom sale, going on right now. It’s the perfect casual meets work blazer and I love the drape front. It is a cotton material instead of the typical poly/spandex blend so it feels cozy, while still being suitable for work. It’s the perfect work to weekend blazer in my opinion because it’s not overly dressy.

This look alike sweater sold out at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale before the sale opened up to the public. So this dupe has been taking over the web since! It is incredibly warm and I love the large scale pattern. I’m wearing with the faux leather Spanx leggings that everyone loves. Be sure to grab a pair before they go back up to full price!

This sweater is SO soft! One of my biggest criteria on selecting a sweater is does it itch or feel scratch? So many of the inexpensive sweaters from a few of my favorite retailers don’t pass this test. Often I need to spend a little more for a really soft sweater. This cozy piece is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale so be sure to grab it while its 30% off! You won’t regret it!

If you are still able to grab these pants, they are like wearing sweats to work. The elastic waist is so comfortable and the crop ankle creates a slimming effect, which who doesn’t love?!

I stumbled upon this blazer when I was shopping for an air fryer on prime day. Somehow I ended upon the Walmart website. I don’t normally shop for clothes at Walmart but this blazer intrigued me. I decided to order it with my new air fryer. When it came in, I was really impressed with the quality. The style is effortless and chic and it’s an easy piece to take from work to a night out.

What do you think of this top? I’m still torn so I thought I’d let you, the reader, decide. Pros: Ruched waist creates a slimming effect. Love the drape sleeves. Comfortable. Cons: See through, you need to wear a cami under this. Try this Assets by Spanx cami for a little extra support around the tummy and you won’t want to ever wear another cami again.

This top was a steal! I think I paid just under $15. For Lou & Grey, you know that’s a price that cannot be turned down. Needless to say, it did sell out quick so I wasn’t able to link it. However, Lou & Grey just came out with a grey color that is a current sneak peak but available for purchase on the Loft site.

If you can get your hands on this kimono, I’d buy one in every color! It’s a great layering piece for the office or an evening out. And as we head into fall, layering is the key to staying comfortable. I don’t own the white pair of these sandals, but I do think they would also work really nice in pulling this outfit together. Bonus, they’re part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale so you can grab them on sale.

On the main page with the link for this, there is a picture on the far right with a white with pink design, peplum, tie at neck with keyhole top that is not linked on this page, could you share the link for that? I have looked at Loft and didn’t see it there. I love it! Thanks, Stephanie
