If you’ve been following along for a while, you know that I love to read! I am part of a monthly book club with my college girlfriends so I am always looking for new recommendations. During the month of December, I typically crave a light and easy holiday read. So I decided to start my favorites list that I can add to and share with you all!
1. The Winter Street Series by Elin Hilderbrand
I was looking for something light and cheerful to read in December and decided to check into Elin Hilderbrand’s books. I love her beach reads and so I was thrilled when I discovered the Winter Street series! They are quick and easy reads so I was able to get through the trilogy during the month of December. And might I add that I was sad when it ended!

I read Comfort and Joy a few years ago and it this book is a holiday favorite! I have loved all of Kristin Hannah’s books, but this one was lighter and more cheery than some of her other novels. It’s also a shorter and easier read, unlike many of her books that are 500 pages long.
