It’s the most dreaded time of the year (for a 40+ year old mom blogger) – swimsuit try on season! Â Ugh, it never does get any easier. Â Especially after my body continues to change and my weight fluctuates as I’ve entered my 40s. Â
However, I’m learning to embrace the extra pounds (for now) while I am also working towards a goal of losing 1 pound a week over the next 3 months.  It sounds easy, but I know it will take serious focus, commitment and a change in my eating habits.  The last time I lost weight, I was able to keep it off for years with some simple tips and tricks.  Here are some of the eating habits that I used to swear by for weight maintenance.
