  • This space had zero character and did nothing to enhance the room when we first bought our house. 🏠 Storage had been an issue, so I reimagined this wall as a built-in where we could store all the stuff — iPad charging stations, crayons and markers, board games. You name it, it probably lives here now. These IKEA cabinets were assembled in a day. From there I painted them Iron Ore. The reclaimed wood slat between the upper and lower cabinets is from an old saw mill. Wallcovering behind the glass give texture and character. Lighting from Amazon highlights the space and Crown molding across the top pulls everything all together. Custom built-ins would have cost us an insane amount. We got the look for WAY less. If you have a blank wall and a free Saturday, trust me, you can do this too. Comment LINKS and I’ll send you all the details on how we made this happen. 🛍️ #builtins #ikeahack #diyhome #beforeandafter #homestorage
  • Obsessed with the high end look of these holiday rugs! The red plaid rug adds that cozy cabin feel. The coir “MERRY” mat with the red bow looks straight out of a high-end catalog. The black wreath “merry Christmas” mat is classic and timeless. The black striped rug gives it a fresh farmhouse look. Mix and match them and every combo looks custom. The designer versions of these run well over $100. These are WAY less. Your entryway and porch can look this good for the holidays and you don’t have to blow the budget. 🛒 Comment RUGS and I’ll send you the links ! 🛍️. #designerlookforless #christmasporch #holidaydecor #walmartfinds #mytexashouse LinkDM *151*
  • Our yard was the boring one on the street. 🏡 This year I changed that with 5 pieces. Govee lights wash the whole house in orange and purple, all controlled from an app that can change colors with the season. 🧙The animatronic witch talks, cackles, and stops every trick-or-treater in their tracks. 💡String lights across the porch keep it cozy instead of creepy. 👻The blow-up ghost takes two minutes to set up. 🕸️The life-size spider web and giant spider are the first thing everyone points at. 🕷️ Best house on the block, no professional needed. Comment SPOOKY and I’ll send you the links to all 5, including the witch everyone asks about. 🛍️ #outdoorhalloweendecor #halloweenporch #halloweendecor #goveelights #spookyseason LinkDM *147*
  • It’s not even October, and the @mytexashouse holiday collection is already selling out at @walmart 🎄 Last year the good pieces were gone before Thanksgiving, so I grabbed my favorites the day they dropped. If you want a pretty holiday home without spending a fortune, start here and don’t wait! Comment LINKS and I’ll send you everything before it’s gone. 🛒🛍️ #walmartfinds #mytexashouse #christmasdecorideas #affordabledecor #momfinds
  • This food warming tray is $60 off right now!! 🛒 I’ll use it for Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, game day and every birthday party this fall. The whole buffet stays hot without the microwave . 🍗 It has 4 glass panels that fold out to 33”, 10 heat settings, and a timer. When the party’s over, it stacks flat and goes right back in the cabinet. Comment WARM and I’ll send you the link 🛍️ Save this for hosting season! #holidayhosting #thanksgivinghosting #foodwarmer #amazonkitchenfinds #entertainingathome https://amzlink.to/az0A5b5KvV63y
  • Just a girl trying to decorate her mantel for fall. 🍂🤷🏼‍♀️ Meanwhile, half my feed has the tree up, the garland hung, and the stockings out. It’s September!! 🤪. I’m not skipping my favorite season. Mini pumpkins, a little greenery, candles lit every night. Christmas can have the mantel in NOVEMBER. 🎄 Team fall mantel? Comment FALL and I’ll send you the links to everything up here. 🛍️ #fallmanteldecor #falldecorideas #falldecor #cozyhome #momhumor. LinkDM *142*
