Amazon Halo Hair Extensions + The Best Thickening Products

When I was pregnant, my hair was my best friend! It was thicker, shinier and healthier than ever before. While I never had super thick hair, it always felt full. Fast forward to 4 years since Owen was born and my hair has gotten so thin and frail! My volume is mostly gone and I can’t straighten it because then it REALLY looks thin.

So I thought I’d share a few tools and hair care items that have helped me regain my hair confidence!

1. Halo

So I don’t use this halo everyday, but I do use it several times a week! It’s taken me a while to get comfortable with this in my hair, but now that I’ve figured out how to get it in properly, I have been wearing it more and more often.

You aren’t going to believe the PRICE! I thought REAL hair was expensive, but leave it to Amazon to give us a great inexpensive alternative. This is real human hair so you can curl it and need to take care of it like you would your own hair.

2. Divi Growth Serum

So I was skeptical about this serum. But wow, was I wrong! I’ve been using it for 4 weeks and have seen significant hair growth around my hair line (where all the chicken fuzz is!) I use the dropper and apply about 6 drops around my hairline. It smells good, and had a little tingle feeling (in a good way), when you apply it. But that’s how you know it’s working!

I also have to add that this doesn’t make your hair oily! I was initially very concerned about that when I tried this serum, but you can’t even tell that it’s in my hair. I wash my hair about every 3 days and still do since using the serum. I could maybe go an extra 2 days before using the serum, but that was if I was lucky and having a good hair week.

3. Volumizing + Texturizing Powder

My flat fine roots need this in order for my hair to keep its volume most of the day. I tease my hair just a little after I apply this, but you don’t have to tease in order to see results! I HIGHLY recommend this if you have fine hair. It has a little grit to it so it’ll help give you hair staying power. It also helps act as a dry shampoo so I don’t have to wash my hair as often.

4. Vital Collagen Protein Power

My hairstylist friend just recommended taking at least a scoop daily. I put it in either my water or coffee. But she told me that one of her clients came in and she was floored at how much thicker her hair felt. When she asked her client what she had been doing differently, it was taking this daily!

5. Teasing Comb

I highly recommend this one when you are learning to put the halo in. It’s easy to grab hair and pull it away or into the halo. It also helps create a straight part.

And if you need good laugh! The boys love to run around with the halo on their head and pretend they’re me!! Too funny NOT to share!
