  • Watching my boys grow up is one of the greatest joys and hardest parts of motherhood. 🤍 Sometimes I catch myself just watching them. Not because they’re doing anything extraordinary. They’re just being boys. Laughing. Playing. Giving each other a hard time. And my heart feels full. Because when you’re raising kids, so much of motherhood is spent doing. Making the meals. Driving everyone everywhere. Reminding them 47 times to put their shoes on. Breaking up arguments. Worrying. Planning. Trying to make sure they have everything they need. These little boys who used to need me for everything are growing up before my eyes. I know there will come a day when my house is quieter. When they aren’t running in and out of the house. When I’m not driving them everywhere or hearing them yell “MOMMY!” from another room. And I know I’ll miss this version of us. Because one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking things about being a mom is realizing that while you’re busy raising them… they’re becoming the people they’re meant to be.
