Say Goodbye to Fake Lashes! The Best Products to Achieve Naturally Long & Voluminous Eyelashes

One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that eyelash curlers are not my friend. They’re supposed to give those flat eyelashes a beautiful lift before you apply mascara. Well for me they seem to get stuck, damage, and pull out my eyelashes. Yep, I remember one time in high school, I had a nice little gap where that little tool ripped out a cluster of my eyelashes. I was left feeling self-conscious and uncomfortable because there’s no putting coverup over that little mistake.

Moving on, I stopped using that little gadget after I discovered a heated eyelash curler. I found this tool was much gentler on my delicate lashes and there was less room for error. Err, leave a gap in my precious lashes.

About a year ago, I was introduced to Rodan + Field’s : Lash Boost, a product that has enhanced and grown my eyelashes like they are on steriods! This stuff is no joke.

For the first 2 weeks I applied every evening and saw a huge growth spurt in both length and fullness. About a year later, I am still using Lash Boost, but I only need to apply once a week to maintain the growth. The product is expensive but if you have a little extra money, it is worth the investment because that little tube goes a long way. Feel free to reach out to me if you don’t know anyone that sells R+F. This product is sold exclusively through R+F consultants.

As for mascara, I’ve tried so many of the expensive brands and continue to come back to two drugstore products. Use them together to enhance thickness and add more volume.

  1. Loreal Paris Volumizing Primer
    1. Apply this after you’ve curled your eyelashes with the heat curler. I don’t always use the heat curler, this product is that good! And if you look at most retailers, this product has 5 star reviews across the board and is a shopper favorite.
  2. Covergirl LashBoost Mascara
    1. This product is so good that I keep coming back to it. I have tried Better than Sex, They’re Real, Dior, Estee Lauder and ask myself why I bother spending the extra money when I keep coming back to this combination. I believe there is need to spend more than $10 on a mascara. Use the money towards the Lash Boost and you’ll get MUCH better results.

I’d love to hear what works best for you. Comment below if you’ve tried any of these products or if you’ve found something that works better!

X,

Kim
